Bradford’s exceptional community in Cary, NC, always has something fun and interesting to do. Around the Fourth of July, you’ll find plenty to keep yourself and your family busy. From fireworks to old-fashioned patriotic fun, and even another installment of Screen on the Green, you’ll enjoy plenty of activities in early July. Here are some of the best to consider:
July 4th, 8am – 3pm
Fred G. Bond Metro Park, Cary NC
It’s a Cary favorite, and residents from Bradford Luxury Apartments & Townhomes enjoy it every year. Starting with a fishing tournament, then followed by a parade, theater performance and the Lakeside Olympics, the Independence Day Olde Time Celebration is a great way to launch your Fourth of July festivities. Admission to the event is free, but some of the activities may have a small cost.
July 4th, 9:15pm
N.C. State Fairgrounds, Raleigh
While not technically in Cary, the July 4th fireworks at the N.C. State Fairgrounds are a great way to finish out the Fourth of July festivities! The activities begin at 5:00pm and include everything from arts and crafts to Wii game tournaments. At 9:15pm, join other guests for the fireworks display. Admission to the festival and fireworks is free! As with anything held at the fairgrounds, you’ll be able to grab your share of fried food while you’re there.
Don’t Miss Screen on the Green!
Friday, July 8th at sundown
Screen on the Green is still underway, and this is a great opportunity for you to get outside and meet other members of the Bradford community. The July 8 showing will be Minions, a family-friendly favorite with plenty of jokes for people of all ages. Remember, the movies start at dusk, and seating is wherever you lay your blanket.
What is the hardest part about living at Bradford Apartments & Townhomes around the Fourth? Deciding which events to attend! There are just too many options! Have you made your plans for the Fourth yet? Let us know what your favorite festival or fireworks display is!
