The Bradford community is getting a new neighbor – Burger 21! The new restaurant franchise will be within walking distance of the community, and is a welcome newcomer to the region.
Burger 21 is not your typical burger joint, but is considered and “upscale” burger restaurant. In line with names like Five Guys and Elevation Burger, Burger 21 is a place where you can get something unique. Burgers are delivered hot and fresh at speeds to rival a fast-food restaurant, but with the personal touch that rivals your favorite sit-down restaurant chain.
A Burger Joint with Rich History
Burger 21 has great roots in the restaurant industry. The brainchild of the owners of the Melting Pot Restaurants, Burger 21 was designed to be a fast-casual burger place that offers signature flavors without the long wait associated with other establishments. With the franchise experience already gained through The Melting Pot Restaurants, Burger 21’s ownership provides exceptional leadership to the up-and-coming franchise.
Burger 21 has unique creations that help it to stand out, and is also dedicated to the local community, which makes it a benefit to the entire Triangle community. On the 21st of every month, Burger 21 will donate 10 percent of its proceeds to a local school or charity.
What’s on the Menu?
Burger 21’s menu helps it to stand out from other burger chains. While the signature dish is, of course, burgers, you’ll find a lot more than just lettuce and tomato on top of a Burger 21 burger. Consider the Bacon Cheesy, which has three kinds of cheese and applewood-smoked bacon on top of the restaurant’s signature brioche bun. The Tex-Mex Haystack, which has gouda, guacamole, onion strings, chipotle sauce, and bacon, is a spicy favorite.
Sliders, gourmet hot dogs, chicken tenders, chicken and turkey burgers and veggie burgers round out the menu. Of course, for those eating on the lighter side, Burger 21 has a selection of gourmet salads. For dessert, consider a hand-spun shake or float, sundae or fresh-baked cookie.
Burger 21 opened June 8. During its first two days, it donated 10 percent of its proceeds to the Cary Family YMCA. Have you made your way to the new restaurant yet? If so, report back to your friends at Bradford to tell what your favorite burger was.
