Union Bank Opens First Two Wake County Branches
Union Bank, and Oxford-based banking chain, has long tried to get its foot in the door of the Triangle region. It has recently announced a desire to open two bank branches in Wake County. One will be right here in Bradford, with the second in Raleigh.
Union Bank is not a stranger to the Cary region. It currently has two loan production offices in Wake County, but lacks a full-service branch. The Bradford branch of Union Bank, which is slated to open in 2015, will be a full-service branch. The new 8,000-square-foot bank building will be built on an outparcel new the Publix grocery store. These two branches will be the first of five to seven that open in Wake County over the next fie years. The Bradford branch will be the bank’s first full-service branch in the County.
Brixx Pizza Planning Two Cary Locations
From banking to pizza, the businesses that are interested in Cary are as varied as the people who live here. Brixx Wood Fired Pizza is another business that has plans to expand its offerings in Cary. This pizza chain, which is based in Charlotte, has plans to open two new locations in Cary in 2015, one of which will be at Bradford’s retail complex.
Brixx Pizza specializes in wood-fired pizzas but also serves pasta, sandwiches, salads and a range of alcoholic beverages. It is not a fast-food restaurant, but rather a casual dining experience. The ambiance and menu offerings at Brixx Pizza will fit in well with the ambiance and clientele of the Bradford region of Cary.
